Thank You For The Love And Condolences

His tail fur never grew in again.

The Hubby and I cannot tell you how much your kind and thoughtful words mean to us.  We miss Chuck with all of our hearts, and are lavishing Angel with everything we can.  She and Chuck were together for their entire lives...even in utero!  We are grateful for the wonderful years we had with Chuck.  How strange it is now to only dish out one plate of food, and to not look for him in his favorite napping hidey-holes.

  10. We know what you mean. Even with multiples, it's hard to have one less dish of food to fix in the morning. We know Thanksgiving will be hard without Churck. We send a big hug and hope for a blessed Thanksgiving.

  12. I am so sorry to be late in sending my heartfelt condolences on the loss of Chuck. I was in transit between Japan and France and missed quite a few posts. It is so heartbreaking to lose our dear friends, and Angel will be so lost without him. Sending a big hug from everyone at The Poupounette

  15. WE know you and Angel will miss Chucky....but keep your eyes open...we are firm believers in visits from OTRB...it happened to us. Maybe in our mind's eye but it happened. Our dear Milky-way's spirit, shadow...or something came prancing through the foyer strong and healthy with a high Mojo tail (he passed from heart failure and was very frail at the end) to let us know he was once again young
    Hugs madi and mom

  17. Again, just so sorry--he was a wonderful character and soul! We send lots of love to Angel. Zulu's brother Biltong died a couple of years ago and it was very hard for him for the first few weeks (which is one of the reasons I got Frodo)

  20. When we lost Kitty ... there was a moment each morning - before I got up - that I hoped it was just a bad dream - that she was really still with us. I'd keep my eyes closed and just pretend it wasn't real. I'm so sorry that you're going through this - it's not fair. But the love you have for Chuck ... the love Angel has for Chuck ... that's the true gift here :)
