Thank you all for your encouraging words for The PO'M!
He made his first trip to the veterinarian in a carrier, as all previous trips had been in a humane trap.
The blood tests will take a few days, but here's what we know so far:
PO'M is FIV negative.
He probably has a flea bite allergy, hence his licking and often hairball expulsion.
He's got wicked bad teeth.
WARNING: Turn volume down for video below, otherwise you'll drive your own cats crazy!

"Wait...what did you say?" |
"What's all the fuss about?" |
It happened in a blink.
The PO'M was at the back door, and it was raining.
I opened the door, knelt, and gave him head scritches. He inched closer, then closer.
When Paddy got his front feet inside, I threw caution to the wind, and pulled him inside.
Picking him up in my arms, I walked through the house, up the stairs, and into the closed off former kitchen area of Sweetie's apartment.
Yes, Paddy O'Malley is INSIDE!
Unplanned, unexpected, and mind-boggling.
He's eating, drinking and using the litter box.
He'll stay sequestered until he sees the veterinarian.
I am chuffed!

Therefore, I also offer this fern image, taken when on a native-to-Michigan fern walk at Tenhave Woods, in Royal Oak, Michigan last week.
Honestly, I only stayed for about half of the instructional walk, because the mosquitoes were too much for me.
Enjoy!
Let's Hop!

Jackson is the black cat, and I've posted about him before. His new sisfur is Sweet Pea, and she's just learning the "watching out the window" ropes. |
This is Miss Annie, and while I've met her before, I hadn't posted about her. Sightings of her a few and far between, and she's very friendly! |
This fraidy cat sat watching Miss Annie and me, but wouldn't come any closer. I'll have to put on my detective hat and find out more about him. |
Spied this kitty enjoying someone's vegetable garden. |

Needless to say, we are all thankful for being able to hear ourselves think again!
Da Boyz, being adorable and snoozing together, without roofing noise. |
