It's Walkin' and Reading Wednesday!
Some images from my time outside:
A wee bit of Northern Lights on November 5.
Sunday, November 9, it snowed overnight, then the trees dropped leaves.
A neighbor set up a Good Dog station, with water, dog treats, poop bags, and chalk to leave messages.
Recent audiobook listens that I recommend:
Carlene O'Connor's County Kerry Mysteries.
Dimpna Wilde has left Dublin and driven back to her childhood home of Dingle.
She's needed as a veterinarian, as her father's animal practice is failing due to his declining health.
Until she runs afoul of Detective Inspector Cormac O'Brien.
Book #4 Come Through Your Door involves a ruthless stalker who turns his sights on Dimpna.
Dan Brown's Robert Langdon/Da Vinci Code Series.
Book #6 The Secret of Secrets was another terrific puzzler, with action, bad guys, shady corporations, and a real twist on the mysterious man tracking Professor Langdon through the streets of Prague.
Lauren Biel's Slaycation Series.
Even serial killers need a break from work.
Book #3 Ship Happens takes place at sea, where old friends who kill for a living enjoy all the booze, good food, and games they want, but wait...is there a federal agent hiding amongst them?
Adult situations, handfuls of humor, and a few deaths of only really bad people, honest!

I'm decidedly envious that you get to see this Northern Lights so clearly. First I have to admit up I don't stay up late. And we live in such a heavily treed area that even with the leaves off I wouldn't be able to see what you did.
ReplyDeleteWhat a good idea to set up that doggie station!
ReplyDeleteThat neighborly gesture is awesome! We have lots of dog walkers going by. The least I could do is put out some fresh drinking water. Thanks for sharing, my dear.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful neighbor to do the Good Dog Station. Brilliant.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and rest of the week. Scritches to the kitties. ♥

ReplyDeleteThat Good Dog station is adorable! My yard looks the same - leaves on top of snow.
ReplyDeleteThat was nice of the neighbor to set up a dog station. We looked for Northern Lights with no luck.
ReplyDeleteOh, to see the aurora someday.
ReplyDeleteYou have a very nice neighbor.
We love that good dog station! We had the Northern Lights here last night -- they're back tonight, but with cloudy skies. :(
ReplyDeleteThat's my "anonymous" comment. :)
