Who'll Stop the Rain?

February 10 is National Umbrella Day!

Have no idea why this date was set aside to tout the benefits of umbrellas, other than perhaps it's a ploy to remind people to make sure they have a goodly supply of brollies for upcoming spring weather?

  1. Who indeed! Including today we have had rain every day since January 1st. That is 41 days of consecutive rain, and probably longer if December were included!

    1. Crickey! That's humbling.
We've been in a deep freeze for a full month, so some rain would make us happy; isn't that weird?

  2. I'm thankful I don't have to worry about such things as an indoor-only kitty. Great song, by the way.

  7. It's supposed to rain this afternoon and I'm happy about that. We live in a desert and we need the rain.

Love all the shots and especially the last one.

  11. Thankfully I did not need an umbrella while traveling to work today. Happy Umbrella Day, though! :)

  12. I like umbrellas. Someone on a wet day, walking down a rain-slicked street with an umbrella is very evocative to me.
