Walkin' and Readin' Wednesday
Recent snaps taken while out in my neighborhood:
This kitty was not inclined to visit with me.
Picked up 37 U.S. pennies on the sidewalk and road; someone tossed them out a car window, I'm thinking.
Mom and Pop cardinals, on the wires.

The Book Series

Published: May 11, 2021
Book #2: The Sequel, narrated by Julia Whelan
Author: Jean Hanff Korelitz
Published: October 1, 2024
Goodreads blurb: Book #1: A psychologically suspenseful novel about a story too good not to steal, and the writer who steals it.
Book #2: An antihero to root for while illuminating and satirizing the world of publishing in this deliciously fun and suspenseful read.
One of the most unique and tantalizing plotlines that I've encountered, and simply discovered it because it's a book about books. Love being swept along to places I wasn't anticipating, and there is a lot of that in these two books.

I guess someone figured since we weren't making any more pennies they might as well take what they have and just throw them away. You'll have to save them as a souvenir. Who knows in 10 years they might be valuable.
