What followed is a garbled, unintelligible recording of meows, smooching noises, and purrs!  We'll never really know what happened that day, but we do know that Red Leader came away from the action with black furrs stuck on her face, and The Target was loved on with no warning!  Yet another successful mission for our brave team.

Tuna Tuesday

Trader Joe's Tuna For Cats

I do not have a photo of Sweetie, Patty O'Malley and Aries eating their tuna...because they eat it up so FAST!  We only give it to them once in awhile, as it's not balanced with vitamins and stuff like regular canned food. Have always kept a can or two of cat tuna around, should I ever have to do a feral/stray cat trapping, and stinky foods work well for that.  But in order to keep my stock fresh, there must be rotation, and the 'O' cats reap the benefits!

Trader Joe's markets near us have Tuna For Cats for $.59 for a 5.5 oz. can. That's a good price, in my mind, and now they have pop-tops; just a few months ago you had to get out a can opener.  I manage to feed three cats from one can, but I know they would all like MORE!  Angel and Chuck are out of luck, due to Chuck's digestive issues.

Massive

For the squeamish, don't look at this peeball!

This is the biggest peeball that I've ever dug out of the litterbox!  It's massive; I even got out a ruler to measure it's size.  This was all Chucky, because I just happened to have witnessed the um, er...deposit as it was created!

Now, actually, a peeball this size is cause for concern; excessive urination can be an indicator of several issues, like kidney problems or even diabetes.  Lucky for him, we have a visit at Sheppard Alternative Animal Care on Saturday, and we will ask the veterinarian all about it.  However, it's more than likely that it's a one time behavior for my Chuck, since I scoop the boxes every day and know both his and Angel's output.  He makes a big peeball every once in awhile, but not every day. Thanks to TROUT TALKIN TABBIES for giving me the courage to take a photo of something from the litterbox!  LOL!

P.S.S. You know that I love cats, but really I love all critters.  Like this cricket that I just found in one of our Vice President's offices.  I carefully captured it, then released it back outside.  Run free, dear cricket!
