Chuck eats with his tail straight out |

Angel tucks her tail in |
Angel and Chuck have shared our home for over eleven years. So why have I never before noticed that Chuck eats with his long tail stuck out, while Angel curls hers around? Chuck is a long cat, and with his tail length added in, that's quite a piece of real estate! Angel is smaller than her brother, and obviously likes to eat all tucked up. She is compact. Maybe there is some sort of yin yang thing going on between the two of them.
What a pawsome discovery. Now that you mention it... I have no idea what my cats' tails do at mealtime. I'll have to check tonight.
ReplyDeleteThat is interesting, and adorable! We're sure our humans would be interested to know what our tails look like while we're eating but that would mean camera time again. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteHm. I've never noticed everybody's tail, but I eat with mine outstretched. In fact, it's all I can do not to get it stepped on!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny that you've just now noticed this. When we adopted Raven, we noticed that she curls her big, floofy tail along side her when she eats. I'm sure she had it stepped on a few times.
ReplyDeleteguys...ya noe....now that ewe haz said that.....we will hafta chex R own tailz & see what they iz up two while we R eatin.... !!!!

That's very interesting! My boys eat with tails both curled and straight, but I think curled most of the time.
