Temperatures are about 20 degrees F below average, and we've had a couple of significant snow storms. This morning, I put out kibble only for The PO'M and Sweetie, because wet food would freeze solid before they could finish their meal.

Sweetie: "How is your kibble this morning?" Paddy: "Quite delicious, Moma brought us a fresh batch!" |

This bowl was used by my family since I was a little girl. Now, it's The 'O' Cats's warm weather water bowl. I don't remember where I put their winter bowl, but I'll find it! And don't worry, I put out fresh...and liquid...water after this photo was taken! |
It's good that they have shelter and food and fresh water. You're a good person.
ReplyDeleteHave a purrfect day you two. My best to your peeps. ♥
I like that water dish. It's 15 degrees below normal here too. TW feels sorry for Panera and all the outdoor cats.
ReplyDeleteYou take such good care of your outdoor babies! I hope they're staying warm.
ReplyDeleteIt's really cold here, too, though no snow yet. Sounds like you are taking very good care of the outdoor kitties! They are so lucky to have you.
ReplyDeleteDang, tis the season, it's way too Brrrrr Humbug here too!
ReplyDeleteGosh it is chilly here too. Breezy damp and drizzling starting late tonight through tomorrow morning 90% of heavy rain. At least it is below freezing.
ReplyDeleteI love that bowl...I can envision some warm chili in it as soon as you find the cold weather bowl for the kit kats
Hugs Cecilia
Such lucky kitties!
ReplyDeleteWe had our first bit of snow yesterday. Relic is still begging to go out despite the fact he has a nice warm couch to lounge on!
ReplyDeleteStill mild in the UK.
ReplyDeleteSo nice of you taking care of those kitties.

i love the photos-a friendly family dinner- do you ever use a heated bowl (or maybe there is no electrical outlet nearby?) I use this one https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B000Y8GQ56/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1--that way you would not have to worry about refilling it!
ReplyDeleteWe've had a sudden cold snap, too, but last night was a balmy 27°, up from 17° the night before.
ReplyDeleteThey are lucky you take such good care of them.
ReplyDeleteBrrr! They are lucky they have you to look out for them.

It's chilly here, but nowhere near freezing. Do the kitties miss their wet food when it's so cold?
ReplyDeleteI seem to remember having a similar bowl as a child. It must be really cold where you are at. We are finally warming back up to Texas temps!
ReplyDeleteIt's difficult time for all the cats living on the street I think :(I always feel sorrow about them :(
