Whelp...
My laptop had an error reading, advising a visit to the Genius Bar.
One walks into the store, feeling like a knuckle-dragging Troglodyte, while uniform-clad smarty-pants explain why I'm lucky that the darn thing didn't explode on my sorry self.
Fortunately, my credit card did NOT melt, and now I have a sparkling new beastie...in Space Gray...to house my precious photo library.
In honor of the new gadget, here are some 'living in the computer age' memes and cartoons for your amusement.
My lap top died long ago and I really should get a new one so I can sit by the log burner and keep warm while I use it. My PC is getting very slow and I am forever getting emails from Norton about the extras I can get to fix broken registries etc. For goodness sake, I pay enough each year, it should all be include. It is due for renewal next month. I may look for an alternative before then.
ReplyDeleteVery good and very true.
ReplyDeleteGreat captions there to share this morning. I got my new laptop a year ago so far things are working out okay. I'm just PC illiterate.
ReplyDeletethat last one brought back memories, mario world…could NOT get the game to level 6, my co worker was playing it at home too. mary came in one day and proudly announced she made it past level 6, would I like her to take my cartridge home and get it to level 6….awesome idea. she brings it in the next day, the game was at level 6….πΊ‼️( she had given my game cartridge, and HER game cartridge to her daughter…who was in second grade πΊπΊπππ
ReplyDeleteHA! Oh wait. Every one of those memes must have had us in mind.

I'm glad you got a new laptop, that's the only way to beat the tech nasties!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got a new one. I am technically challenged too. :)
ReplyDeleteLoved the funnies :) Sorry to hear that you were having tech problems. It is a relief when everything is working smoothly again!
ReplyDeleteThese are great! Technology...can't live with it, can't live without it.
ReplyDeleteI couple years ago, my 'puter had a battery malfunction too, they said it was so hot it had warped the case.YIkes!

I LOL'd at that truck!
I am glad you can stay in communication with all of us
ReplyDeleteCan't read what is over the exhaust pipes darn it. When I try clicking to hopefully enlarge it, that advertisement thing starts all over again, until you can see the blog. I need to just have your bloggie in my bookmarks and avoid that annoying thingy. But enjoyed it once permitted by the app.
ReplyDeleteGlad it all worked out with the new laptop. I just got/hooked up a new monitor, so the HDMI ports ion the pickup made be laugh!
ReplyDeleteI usually remember the password. It's not always the right one for what I'm trying to do, but it's the password. For something...
ReplyDeleteThe Truck was great. Did you notice on the back window, bottom left it says Transmission Lineman and has a graphic of a power line tower, then upper right has the bars, wifi symbol, 100% and a battery symbol. This guy is not only a good lineman, he's got a great sense of humor.
