Can admit to being overwhelmed by current events, and am so thankful for friends and family who've listened to my tales of woe and stress, to offer this advice:
Think of the things that you are grateful for.
I have a roof over my head, a good job, a terrific circle of friends and family, lots of books, lots of teabags, and three cats who entertain the heck out of us.
We have a marriage that has humor, good food, and two televisions when each of us wants to watch something that the other does not enjoy.
Let's Hop!
When we stop to think about it for a moment, we do remember everything each one of us can be thankful for. I am now thankful that the snow was melted even though it rained all day yesterday. But I have much more than that to be thankful for.

ReplyDeleteThe world will keep spinning, my dear, and perhaps we'll all be better for the current chaos once the dust settles. ~nods~ Hang in there and keep being thankful. Hugs to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great life. I am blessed too. XO
ReplyDeleteCounting thankful things is a blessing in itself. There's a Ten Things of Thankful blog hop every weekend and participating regularly keeps me remembering what is good in my life.
ReplyDeleteThose are all good things to be Thankful for. The bad times will pass.
ReplyDeleteI have a Cosy Cabin to share with my cats, food to eat - even if I can't buy oranges anymore - and a job. Not too bad, not too bad...
