Nowhere near as silly as 1987's Spaceballs, which skewers every outer space TV or movie, starring Bill Pullman, John Candy, and Mel Brooks.

I remember my excitement when it first started. A programme I really liked and the "grown ups" didn't understand.
ReplyDeleteI remember watching the original Star Trek shows and I thought they were kind of fun. But I do have to say I haven't watched any in absolutely years. Love the Kitty cartoon beam me up beam me down.

ReplyDeleteMom is such a fan of the original series that she still watches each and every one as though it was new...meaning I put aside what I know is going to happen and allow myself to be surprised and delighted all over again. I started liking TNG after the first 2 years. Till then, it was silly and too too !! After that, I think they realized it and the episodes became much better by and large. Love Q.
