Trekkers Par-Tay!

September 8 is Star Trek Day!

A few sillies for your amusement on this momentous anniversary:

😹😹😹

The Original Series will always be my favorite.

"To boldly go where no one has gone before"

P.S. If you enjoy spoofs, may I suggest Galaxy Quest, made in 1999 and stars Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, and Alan Rickman. ❤️

Nowhere near as silly as 1987's Spaceballs, which skewers every outer space TV or movie, starring Bill Pullman, John Candy, and Mel Brooks.

Some more spacey films that I think are a hoot:

Mars Attacks!, 1996, with Jack Nicholson, Annette Bening, and Pierce Brosnan.

What Planet Are You From?, 2000, with Annette Bening, Gary Shandling, and Ben Kingsley.

Paul, 2011, with Simon Pegg, Kristen Wiig, and Jason Batemen, and I adore this film! ❤️

  1. I remember my excitement when it first started. A programme I really liked and the "grown ups" didn't understand.

  4. Mom is such a fan of the original series that she still watches each and every one as though it was new...meaning I put aside what I know is going to happen and allow myself to be surprised and delighted all over again. I started liking TNG after the first 2 years. Till then, it was silly and too too !! After that, I think they realized it and the episodes became much better by and large. Love Q.
