Oh yeah, I'm thankful today!
Although, technically and scientifically, winter ends when spring begins, we all know that those two seasons tend to fight over dominance for awhile.
Crazy weather ensues, but at least the birds are coming back, green stuff is peaking out of the ground, and if there is any snow, we know it won't last long.
Yay, it's the last day of winter.
Let's Hop!

By Bye!! To winter that is! We have freezing rain at this moment...and hopefully none later. It is supposed to be around 60 by the weekend...that's more like it!
ReplyDeleteI will be so glad to see the back of winter, not for snow, but never ending rain. At least we are starting out with a few sunny but cold days.
ReplyDeleteI've been lucky and seen a Towhee and a brown thrasher. But I still have juncos and siskins. And of course some snow on the ground.
ReplyDeleteWe are fully into spring mode and hope that you will be too very soon!
