Not my favorite mammals
ReplyDeleteI have been disappointed this entire summer to see so few bats here so seldom. We are in a very woodsy community for them. I know how serious their decline is.
ReplyDeleteBack in FL days, the Brevard Zoo: an amazing bat display. So much understood, so valuable actually, and fascinating! Yet of course, still good for Halloween Horror!!!
ReplyDeleteHA! Gotta watch out for those fireflies!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful art! Mum says bats are cute.
ReplyDeleteThat firefly stuck between teeth just killed me! That was fun.
ReplyDeleteBats are indeed good: useful, hard-working and not a danger. Long may they rule the night.
ReplyDeleteBats are cool creatures. Beautiful leaves. Thanks for the puzzle. XO
ReplyDeleteWe occasionally get bats flying around here. I think they come from the village church tower.
ReplyDeleteI think bats are cute!
ReplyDeleteWe love seeing bats around here. They are such important friends!
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "Our Dada says that Mercury Retrograde Safety Suit looks just like Q-Bert! Whoever that is!"
ReplyDeleteThose panels cracked me up. I don't know which is my favorite, though the firefly gag might be the one. LOL Bats are amazing and often, in my opinion, cute, especially the fruit eating flying foxes.
ReplyDeletePS Thanks to you, I just learned that most Old World bats lack the ability to echolocate (!) and compensate with well developed eyesight.
I love bats, my favorite place at the zoo is the bat house.
