"We believe that every cat should have a forever home where they are safe, warm, loved, cherished and regarded as FAMILY."

Every Eastside Cat has been adopted, and we are thankful and have high respect for The Cat Distribution System.

"Adopt, Don't Shop" is our motto.

Let's Hop!

  1. Aww, I love that second one. I often try to imagine what the shelter cats are thinking.

  3. I'm really laughing at the Third one. I can just imagine just precious deciding to go outside and live, just like a man who wants to go camping, lol.

  5. Oona: "You just pick a human you like. That is how Oona's legendary sister Trouble did it, how Charlee and Chaplin did it, and how Oona herself did it. LIKE A NINJA!"

  7. The cat distribution system has treated us well. :D I do like to add the wise words of a pet groomer (Youtube channels: Girl with the Dogs & Girl with the Dogs 2), who has stated that sometimes it's good to support ethical breeders. I've learned that, allegedly, those folks don't make an actual profit but rather breed for the love of the animals.

'Discount' backyard breeders don't care about healthy, well adjusted pets, just whatever money they can grab from the unwary. The number of grooming clients with ill-suited temperaments and bad coat quality I've seen pass through her care make me angry.

    ~sigh~

Hugs and best wishes, my dear.

  11. A few of my cats might survive, for a while, if they were outside, but not many and none for long, I'm afraid. And they are never going to have the chance to find out!

  12. Heeheehee! I love it when you talk feral, that's funny. Yes, every cat deserves to be treated well and all of ours have been adopted or simply dropped on us.
