World Spay Day

World Spay Day in 2026 is February 24.

It's held annually on the last Tuesday in February.

"World Spay Day advocates spaying, or neutering, advocating it "as a proven means of saving the lives of companion animals, community (feral and stray) cats, and street dogs who might otherwise be put down in a shelter or killed on the street." - Wikipedia

  1. If only every cat I see loose outside could be caught in spayed or neutered. And that's just in my small area what a difference it would make.

  2. The purrfect post. It's the responsible thing to do. Our babies were spayed as soon as they were old enough to be.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. ♥

  3. Amen to that! My sweet kitty Luna birthed three kittens (that we know of) before coming to me and it was breast cancer that caused her demise.

  7. I can't imagine anyone not spaying or neutering their pet. There's nothing more irresponsible.

  9. Someone didn't spay my new foster-cat, Rhapsody, and we're about to have more homeless cats. And it probably isn't her first litter. But it will be her last.
