World Spay Day in 2026 is February 24.
It's held annually on the last Tuesday in February.
"World Spay Day advocates spaying, or neutering, advocating it "as a proven means of saving the lives of companion animals, community (feral and stray) cats, and street dogs who might otherwise be put down in a shelter or killed on the street." - Wikipedia
Let's Hop

ReplyDeleteVery important message!
ReplyDeleteI sure hope more pay attention soon!!!
ReplyDeleteThe purrfect post. It's the responsible thing to do. Our babies were spayed as soon as they were old enough to be.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. ♥
Amen to that! My sweet kitty Luna birthed three kittens (that we know of) before coming to me and it was breast cancer that caused her demise.
ReplyDeleteIt’s our mantra at the cat shelter. Keep spreading the word.
ReplyDeleteMost definitely ~ better for the kitty and all concerned ~ hugs,
ReplyDeleteThanks for spreading the word on the importance of spay/neuter.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine anyone not spaying or neutering their pet. There's nothing more irresponsible.
ReplyDeleteThat's such an important message. Thank you for spreading the word about spaying and neutering!
ReplyDeleteCan we spay humans?
ReplyDeleteSomeone didn't spay my new foster-cat, Rhapsody, and we're about to have more homeless cats. And it probably isn't her first litter. But it will be her last.
