Postcards from NYC: Central Park

While I was away, Julie earned her angels wings.
Too sad.
Please leave a kind word at Mickey's Musings.
😿

We walked and rambled through Central Park every day last week; it was always a delight, being a feast for the eyes.

We walked miles along the paths, enjoyed the dog walkers with their pups, and my sister and I had really great conversations while making our way around.
Although it was brisk, our exercise kept us warm.

And at no time did we feel unsafe while there.

  2. I am so glad you felt and stayed safe. ~hugs~ I tried talking my boyfriend into going there with a local band trying to make it big back in the late 1980's but he didn't feel it was safe. Now, I'm happy staying put in my suburb, though I miss the ocean off the North Carolina coast. ~sigh~ Thanks for the great photos. And I was glad to learn that Julie's grieving mom adopted Winnie to help her heart heal.

  3. What lovely photos! Usually when folks show pics of NYC, it is a whole lot of concrete and glass. I like your version of NYC much better.

  6. That must be one of the best spots in New York. And I've seen the bridge from the last picture many times in tv series and movies, I think; many meetings have taken place under it.
