December 11 is International Mountain Day!
The 2025 theme: “Glaciers matter for water, food and livelihoods in mountains and beyond”, highlights the critical role mountain regions play as a key source of global freshwater and calls for immediate measures to avoid the glaciers’ disappearance.

Praying for our glaciers
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. I've been lucky enough to see the Rocky Mountains a couple times. And I agree about the glaciers just melting away into water. What I saw in the 19'80s was different than what I saw in the year 2000.
