I recall breaking a mirror when I was a little kid, and being told about 7 years of bad luck. I cried, but to a child, what is a year, let alone 7, and bad luck means what exactly? Funny how that memory jumped out when I read your comment.
Hubby and I are both born on the number 13, so for us we find it always to be a good number, nothing to worry about, even on a Friday, because we are not superstitious either...
Sweet pics! I have never considered Friday 13th unlucky, but have a friend who won't even get out of bed on that day!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's so interesting, considering this day and age.
DeleteBut if it's worked for your friend, then more power to them.
We would get Friday the 13th and then valentine day tomorrow. Hopefully not too many people will get in trouble today.

DeleteCurious: is that number of FRIDAY the 13th's? unusual or is it the norm ... never paid attention to that ...
ReplyDelete3 Friday the 13ths is the highest # in a year; turns out if the year starts on a Thursday makes it happen...who knew?

ReplyDeletenothin wrong with the number 13…..if it worked for the doods at the last supper ( Jesus and his 12 apostles ) it works for me 😸‼️🐾
ReplyDeleteGlad I'm not superstitious. And Henry, if that's yu...I love you indeed!
ReplyDeleteI cannot argue about Mondays and am so thankful for my retirement. :) Be well, my dear.
