Let's Not Ban Animals Nor Books

Banned Books Week 2026 takes place from October 4 to October 10, 2026, with the official theme:

“Let Books Be. Protect the Freedom to Read.” 

Sponsored by the American Library Association and the Banned Books Week Coalition, the annual event spotlights intellectual freedom and ongoing nationwide censorship efforts.

    If the books get published in the first place the name must have been good enough to put on the shelf and stay there for people to choose to read.
