It's Twozday, and there was mayhem!
And then, peace.
The fracas got really loud with hisses and screams, and they batted each other for a while, then chased across the room and under every piece of furniture...sloshing my tea...then it went quiet.
The Hubby and I picked up chunks of black fur, wiped up the spills, and when it was time for the humans to go to bed, Manny and Chili Bruce were snuggled together on the foot rest of MY chair.
We'll never know what started it; Da Boyz aren't telling.
As long as there is (mostly) peace at Eastside Cats, then all is well.
Well, you can't have peace all the time, and as long as they make up all is well.

ReplyDeleteLink Linker the Stinker used to spar like that with Dansig the Round, until Dansig crossed to the Rainbow Bridge. They were best friends, then would tussle, then stop, especially if they'd just had catnip.
ReplyDeleteI like the pauses between fisticuffs: you don't know if it will continue or if the opponents will turn and wander away in search of food.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what all our last adopted cat Dandelion missed in her life, but the furrocious sounding play fights between younger Terra and Polly Dactyl sure seem to mystify her. lol We can only hope friendship emerges but at least bloody chaos has subsided. Whew! Be well, my dears.
