January 21 is:
National Hugging Day...
...And
National Squirrel Appreciation Day.
Two squirrel pics from our yard; that cheeky one on the window screen scared me to death when it jumped up there, next to where I was working!
😹😹😹
Would be happy to hug a squirrel, so I'd only need one pic for today, but alas, no such image exists...yet.
Let's Hop!

We see a lot of red squirrels here, and black ones, a variety of the grey. They are fun to watch...but those red ones I see them chewing on the neighbor's siding! Yikes!
ReplyDeleteWe only get grey squirrels here and have a lot in the wooded area of our fields. They used to come up and eat the food in the bird feeders, but we bought new squirrel proof ones a few years ago and they gave eventually up.
ReplyDeleteWe have a backyard full of squirrels for the snow cover that we've got it's pretty amazing. They're finding all the Walnut piles that I made.
ReplyDeleteThat's some fun squirrel! Happy hugs from all of us to all of you!
ReplyDeleteWe see lots of grey squirrels. They do not bother us.In the Summer I might want to chase one but mum would probably intervene.
ReplyDeletePurrs Winnie

ReplyDeleteI'm a hugger. If I like/love you then hugs happen.
ReplyDeleteThe bugger on the screen would have scared me too. Those tree rats are very onery.

squirrel did that once at my grandparents house and hit the window with such force it cracked the glass…they were not happy campers 😼‼️
ReplyDeleteSquirrels have caused me much damage. Think I'll hug something else. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'd give anything to hug a squirrel!
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of tree rats.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you (if you want them) and those squirrely squirrels are certainly entertaining.
ReplyDeleteSending hugs to you, sweet pals. The demon meme made us seriously LOL!
ReplyDeleteInteresting…all my dogs have been demons
ReplyDeleteI like squirrels but, strangely, they do not want to be hugged. At least not by me.
