Each year, Scotland and the Scottish diaspora celebrate Burns Night or Robert Burns Day on January 25, in tribute to Scotland's National Bard, Robert Burns.
As far as I know, my family has barely any Scottish blood, although The Hubby's has a wee bit.
However, I've always felt there is Celt somewhere in me, and I adore everything Scot.
That includes men wearing kilts. π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ

Thanks for the laugh - Death by Scotland!!! MOL MOL MOL Manny is looking epic today, subtly sublime and stunningly supurr!
ReplyDeleteGreat funnies, they made me laugh. I don't have any Scottish blood as far as I know, but I do like Scotland and the bagpipes. I do have a lot of Celtic blood though from the Republic of Ireland and some Welsh.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this post, thanks. My mother found out that I have a little bit of Scottish blood in me from who knows how many generations back.
ReplyDeleteManny makes a furry cute Celt! But does he like chasing "wee, timorous beasties"?
ReplyDeleteGood post. My Mum was from Glasgow and was a war bride I have visited there twice and England as well to see other relatives.Sadly most have passed except for a few cousins.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Burns night! Nip flavoured haggis and nip whisky all round! Love the Tam, by the way, as well as the funnies from Dr Who!
ReplyDeleteERin
I have, according to my genealogy app almost evenly divided...close to 50% British and the same with Scottish ancestors..about 30% percent. French and German are the rest, so rock that Tam. Have some of that Haggis.
ReplyDeleteWe do have a very nice blogging pal from Scotland!
ReplyDeletebeware of the haggis is right ‼️πΎπΈπππ
ReplyDeleteNo Celtic blood in me. I'm all from south of the Cheviots and east of Offa's Dyke.
ReplyDeleteHeeheehee! Fun stuff. My Sweetie's family name is Scottish and I'd do a Burns Night Supper if I knew how, but reading some Burns today will have to do.
ReplyDeleteManny looks good sporting that tam.
ReplyDeleteCute shot of Manny. Thanks for the puzzle. XO
