Popcorn Addict

MLK Day (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day) is a U.S. federal holiday observed on the third Monday of January, honoring the civil rights leader's life and legacy.

It's hard to believe that we continue to struggle to open our minds to equality amongst all humans.

~~~
On a lighter note, January 19 is National Popcorn Day.
From a person who will munch popcorn 24/7...and I have witnesses!...here are a few sillies for your entertainment:
  1. Oh, not only struggle, but doesn't it seem like we're sliding backwards these days? The "Before the movie" would be dad if mom wasn't sittng right next to him!
  2. It seems like the good men who have something worthwhile to share and to direct us towards are the ones that died too young. And when they're murdered this is even worse.
  3. MLK's words are true, but they are ignored and the world is daily becoming a worse place.
  6. Ordered a box of 20 small bags of popcorn (Amazon thing) to share at an event I was going to. Quickly had to reorder as unfortunately 11/12 of the small bags were snarfed up a day or two earlier by "someone" binging on Netflix (JUNE, you're not s'posed to eat popcorn!!) Well, they really are SMALL bags ...
