"Remember Tam o' Shanter's Mare"

Each year, Scotland and the Scottish diaspora celebrate Burns Night or Robert Burns Day on January 25, in tribute to Scotland's National Bard, Robert Burns.

As far as I know, my family has barely any Scottish blood, although The Hubby's has a wee bit.

However, I've always felt there is Celt somewhere in me, and I adore everything Scot.

That includes men wearing kilts. 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

A few items from me to you, hoping to give a smile.

For Sunday Selfies, Manny models a tam o'shanter, and I artified it.

  2. Great funnies, they made me laugh. I don't have any Scottish blood as far as I know, but I do like Scotland and the bagpipes. I do have a lot of Celtic blood though from the Republic of Ireland and some Welsh.

  3. I enjoyed this post, thanks. My mother found out that I have a little bit of Scottish blood in me from who knows how many generations back.

  7. I have, according to my genealogy app almost evenly divided...close to 50% British and the same with Scottish ancestors..about 30% percent. French and German are the rest, so rock that Tam. Have some of that Haggis.
