Apple Head

Per Wikipedia here:

World Art Day, a celebration to promote the development, diffusion and enjoyment of art, was proclaimed at the 40th session of UNESCO’s General Conference in 2019.

How to celebrate this day?

Let's have some sillies, in the form of cartoons featuring Surrealist Renè Magritte's "Le fils de l'homme/The Son of Man", 1964.

Learn more about Magritte on The Magritte Foundation's website here.

The Son of Man painting is a prominent piece of art in the 1999 film "The Thomas Crown Affair", featuring Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo.

During one scene as the art thief is mystifying the police, dozens of men dressed in long grey coats, red ties, bowler hats, and carrying briefcases fill the galleries of the museum, clogging up the halls and stairways, as the mastermind sets up the ruse.

Inside the briefcases, are flyers of The Son of Man, which spill out to cause even more confusion.

Just LURV this movie!

Henry Update:

All foods consumed on Tuesday.

The last 5 ml of doxycycline antibiotic administered.

Gabapentin was discontinued a few days ago, and he's as friendly and snuggly as ever.

He's not so slug-like, but not yet playing with toys.

Litter box habits are πŸ‘πŸ».

Henry is petitioning for more churus, but I fear he's going to NOT eat the 'good' food, to pander for the snacks.

Have tried frosting the wet food with the churu goop; sometimes he'll eat it, and sometimes he won't.

Any advice on this?

Wednesday update:

He didn't eat his dinner, and is ignoring breakfast.  *sigh*

Let's Hop!

  1. Keep eating, Henry, then the churu will be your dessert! I actually use churus to decorated the dog'as food if they don't want to eat. Benji is the most frequent user of those...when the weather gets too warm his appetite decreases.

  3. It's good to hear Henry's trying to eat. I hope this is not turning him to being one of those finicky kitties. He's eating so well in the past you sure hate for him to get into that habit. I don't have any advice for you except try to wean him off the treats.
