April 10 is Siblings Day in the US and Canada; a day to recognize, honor, and celebrate the special bond between siblings.

Wikipedia reports that Brothers and Sisters Day is observed in Europe on May 31.
A few sillies for your entertainment:
I may be #5 child of six, and have had some crazy sibling stuff happen, but at least we never dressed up as pickles.
I do really like pickles...yum.

Henry Update:
Henry had an experience on Thursday: the bed sheets needed laundering, and he's been stuck to the bed like a burr.
He looked as if I was trying to grab him for a ride in the carrier, but we slid the sheets out from under him carefully.
He's eating better, yet his energy is low.
Perhaps a few more good meals will spark him into jumping on counters or playing with his spring toys again.
So appreciate all of the love and purrs that y'all have sent!
❤️ π₯ ❤️
My only sibling lives 2,000 miles away so there goes the closeness, lol. Also him being 5 years older than me makes a difference too. Henry you must keep eating and little by little start playing with your colorful Springs
ReplyDeleteNow that me and all of my sibs are retired, it's presenting some interesting vacation opportunities.
DeleteLots of healing energy hugs and prayers for Henry and you coming from a family of 6 siblings ~ ^_^ Must nice in adulthood though. ^_^
ReplyDeleteMy best friend was from a family of five, and neighbors all had three or four kids, so really didn't notice that we had A LOT of kids until I was in school.
Deleteiz he still on gaba? that will do it to ya!
ReplyDeleteYes, he's still on it. It's been SO helpful!
Deletedood…buzzed glad yur doin better…keep up de grate job oh nommin sum chow…hope bye ☀️ SUN day yur con soomin bout 7 canz day lee πΈ‼️πΎπ
ReplyDeleteI will gladly feed him that much food!
DeleteThose are funny! Maybe Henry needs another B12 shot.
ReplyDeleteI'll ask the vet about that when we go for the follow-up appointment. Being FIV+, we may want to juice his system on a regular basis.
DeleteYou have a big family. I will keep praying for Henry. XO
ReplyDeleteI'm the one who didn't have kids; my sibs gave my parents lots of grandbabies, and great-grandkids, and great-greats too!
DeletePoor little guy sure is going through an ordeal :(
ReplyDeleteHe's getting better, and we appreciate everyone's concern.
DeleteContinuing purrayers fot Sweet Henry.
ReplyDeleteSiblings can be great, or not. Oh, well, at least it's a learning experience in the latter case.
ReplyDeleteHenry, please eat!
I have seen a very big difference in Katie ever since it was lovingly suggested I ask the Vet for B12. It was a miracle, as was written in Katie's blog back last year when that happened. She is 19 now, and has both hyperthyroid and kidney disease. Without the B12, which increased her wanting to eat, thank heavens as she was eating next to nothing...I thought she would pass. So Henry, I hope your Mom tries B12. You never know.
ReplyDeleteI had two brothers 8 and 10 years older than me. It was like having three fathers I swear! I was hardly allowed to do anything for pity sake.
ReplyDeleteThose costumes are amazing! Thanks for the giggles. And again, I'm glad Henry is improving. Be well!
