Greatly Grand

❤️ Thankful for the birth of a healthy great-nephew. ❤️

Or is it grand nephew?

Read about the debate here: Great versus Grand

If Auntie Vic can count correctly, the newest baby is my 14th great/grand.

Thirteen nieces and nephews.

Welcome to the world, little man!

Meanwhile, the days are beginning to do some weird time-stretching thing!

Some sillies to express my confusion:

I'm so confused...

Let's Hop!

September PO'M

 It's PO'Monday.

September 2014, and a slide show of Celestial Paddy O'Malley living the good life!

Edit: I've removed the private label; not sure how that happened.

Respect the Ging

#GingerCatAppreciationDay

September 1 is Ginger Cat Appreciation Day!

As Eastside Cats is currently unowned by a orange kitty, here are a few silly images swiped from social media for your entertainment since we have no pics of our own 😿:

Shout outs to my family and friends who current are or once were the servants of gingers; count yourselves lucky. ❤️

And if you think I love cats, watermelon, and popcorn, please know that I am a devout Library disciple, and encourage all to walk into a library and ENJOY!

A library card opens a doorway to many adventures, with books, with DVDs, with free lectures and seminars, to play with jigsaw puzzles, online games, tap into genealogy and history websites, phone apps for ebooks and audiobooks...for FREE.

Seed library, plant exchanges, tax prep assistance, free passes to local events and institutions, and the list goes on and on.

Please consider registering for your library card today, or use the one that's been sitting in your wallet for years to go out to explore.

Moody

It's PO'Monday!

September, 2014.

These images seem atmospheric and moody.

Guess the angle of the sunshine gets steeper as we move into Autumn.

Methinks the mood made Celestial Pommy look even more handsome.

National Library Card Sign-Up Month

September is National Library Sign-Up Month!

The modern library is not only books, but free wi-fi, games, classes, book groups, sewing clubs, jigsaw puzzles, quiet study, lectures, and so much more.

Visit your local library soon, and get your library card.

It's uses are endless.

And, you'll save yourself TONS of money by checking out books, audiobooks, ebooks, games, sewing machines, gardening tools, wifi hotspots, etc., instead of BUYING everything!

P.S. Laurie R. King and Neil Gaiman are two of my very favorite authors.
