Tuckered Out

It's Twozday!

Da Boyz are enjoying open windows and doors; Bird TV is phenomenal!

Yet, all of that activity makes napping all the more impawtant:

Chili Bruce, naps on the big scratcher in a front window.

Manny uses myself as a pillow, as the sunlight and shadow make interesting colors of his fur.

And then, they are together again, weary from rushing from window to open door, then back again.
My best guess: CB left, Manny right.

I've gotten most of my 'hengey' hilarity out of my system.

Well, for now.

Da Boyz' 5th Gotchaversary!

Our first post of Da Boyz: Uh Oh!

Manny and Chili Bruce are wonderful cats.

The Hubby and I simply love them to pieces.

They have their purrsonalities and quirks, but they are terrific to live with and love on.

Eating style:

Manny: slow, picky

Chili Bruce: wolf it down then look for more

Lap style:

Manny: oh, heck no

Chili Bruce: yes, I think I will

Kitchen style:

Manny: let me in, let me in, let me in

Chili Bruce: meh, only if I can look out the window

Allow smooching:

Manny: Yes, please

Chili Bruce: I will kill you if you get any closer

The way that they curl into each other, makes me weep with joy!

The Hubby often tosses his jacket on a chair, and before he remembers to hang it up in the closet, Da Boyz are using it for a beddy!  Nowadays, his jacket is NEVER put away; he'd rather leave it so the cats can enjoy.  Can't say I blame him, but there are more jackets than cats on this chair now!

Thankful Thursday: A Year Ago

Da Boyz chillaxin' a year ago.
Manny's Great White Spot is in evidence, while CB is demure.

The Hubby and I couldn't get enough of watching Manny and Chili Bruce sleeping together a year ago, and the wonder and delight at watching them snooze is still as fresh to us.  We count ourselves so very lucky to have been at the right place at the right time, to have adopted them.  There were two other women hovering about while I played with Da Boyz at the pet store adoption center, and I am convinced that they would have been adopted by someone else if I'd hesitated.  We are thankful that we struck when the iron was hot, so to speak!
