Adaptations

Relaxed Angel, last night

Was thinking of holding off on any updates with the 'Great Integration of Da Boyz' until there was a big change, until it dawned that things happen in little ways, and they almost happen without notice.

Such as Angel, seeming to prefer being upstairs in the apartment by herself.  This morning, we 'parked' Manny and Chili Bruce in their safe room, allowing Angel free reign to roam.  But she just wanted to stay in the apartment!  Speaking to The Hubby this afternoon, he said that he too gave her opportunity to get downstairs, but she protested and stayed where she was.

Perhaps, she's been trying to tell us all along what she wants, but we've been too busy concerning ourselves with making sure she doesn't feel cooped up to notice that she may really WANT to be cooped up!  Hmmm....

  4. My cats have their morning stinky goodness. Then my older cat prefers to spend her time under the bed until mid-afternoon or later. She is safe from her nemesis and can snooze in peace.

  6. We cats like what we like and we know that we like it. Sometimes even we don't understand WHY we like what we like, though, so I would imagine it's even harder for peeps to figure it out. purrs

  7. Good news ! She may still miss Chuck and be just as happy by herself.

  8. As long as she is happy, hopefully, she isn't trying to hide out thinking the boys are loose. Kitties are so hard to figure out, I wish they could tell us how they feel.

  12. Sadie was the same way for many months. We let her do what she wanted. Angel is seeking comfort there for now, and that's ok.

  13. Nothing wrong with being cooped up, if that's what she wants. Our sister Ruby LOVES being cooped up and wouldn't have it any other way. Purrs to you, Angel.
