The Angel abides |
Because we have sectioned off the house into zones: The Apartment, The Parlor, The Front Room, and Downstairs, we have duplicated water bowls, litter boxes, and toys in each zone. We needed a scratcher for The Apartment, and I found one rather by accident while shopping at a nearby pet store.
Truth be told, I really want a big, hunkin', and expensive cat tree, and a big, hunkin', and expensive scratcher too! However, in the hopes that someday we'll no longer need these zones, I opted for a simple, largish scratcher...for now. Cost: $20, and it's plain, no frills, and all of the cats use it. Score!
The Kittyslab is 20 inches by 15 inches, and about 2.5 inches thick. Surprisingly, Angel takes up a little bit more territory on it than she should, but nothing is left to fall over the edges, so 'slab' is a good descriptor. There is more info available at

***Disclaimer: I received no compensation from The Kittyslab company, nor have I reached out to them in anyway. I purchased The Kittyslab of my own volition, and review it with my own opinion***
It's always nice to get new stuff. We hope the day comes soon when all parties can at least politely co-exist.
ReplyDeleteNothing beats simple and sweet! The kitties around here find simple joys like this to be some of the best, too. Enjoy, Angel!
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice scratcher. Good size...we'd like to get our claws into it.
ReplyDeleteThat's Mudpie's favorite kind of scratcher but I've never seen one so large! *Off to investigate*
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a great scratcher.
ReplyDeleteWe would love those here and Brother Simon would pull it apart in no time!
ReplyDeleteAngel, you rule that thing!
ReplyDeleteThat looks such a nice scratcher! I sure hope you will not need zones in the future :-)
ReplyDeleteThat looks great! Webster likes horizontal scratchy things like this (or the carpet). Will have to try one of these. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL, clever name. Glad it is being used.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a really nice bed... er, we mean, scratcher. MOL!
ReplyDeleteThat's a fun name for a scratcher :)
ReplyDeleteAaaaaaaw Now, it's not nice to say we kitties be too large. We think Angel looks purrfect. Glad the svratcher's a hit with everykitty. Big hugs
