Oh, The Cold!

As mentioned in yesterday's post, I am not a fan of Winter...and technically, it's not even here yet!

Perhaps worrying about The 'O' Cats for a decade pushed me farther into disliking cold and snow...?

Yet, I can pinpoint when I went from a kid growing up in Michigan (known as The Winter Wonderland), and dealing with the season, to an disgruntled denizen of The North.

That was a vacation visit to Florida one February.

Yep, I was spoiled from that point on.

The Hubby and I aren't moving any place warm, any time soon...unfortunately...so I found some terrific hoodies to keep me warm.
Went overboard a bit, as I was entranced with the plethora of fabulous black cat images.

Email me if you'd like information about the hoodies: on the right-hand column, down a bit, is a 'Contact Eastside Cats' form.

  1. Cold is no fun, but dressing well does help a lot! Cute hoodies! At least we kitties have fur!

  2. It has turned cold here also with a very hard frost every morning. From a summer of extreme heat it looks like we will have an extra cold winter. Wake me in the spring!

  3. I do not like Winter as it is cold and there is no tasty grass for me to eat. Mum does not like it when it snows and she has to move it around.
So far, we have been getting a lot of rain :/

  4. Guess we're on opposite "poles" ... a former 23 year-plus resident of Florida, I'd love to be back at my once upon a time Michigan home! Walking on the frozen waves of Lake Michigan ... now am just in a boring-in-between state!

  5. Those are nice cat hoodies. Even though it's not too cold here in NC we still love a good warm hoodie! Some days we can sit in the open window. Although it is getting too cold now but not as bad as where we used to live.

  6. My pawrent growed up in the Winter Wonderland of Michigan too. Momma remembers it fondly, but Daddy sez Hekk will Freeze before he moves back. FloryDa isn't so great during Summer which starts in March and stretches to... well... December cuz we have 80 degrees right now. Eternal Sunshine and Hoomiddity gets pretty old fast.

  10. I'm not as much a fan of winter as I used to be, either, but I couldn't live anywhere there isn't at least a reasonable chance of snow.
