August 16 is National Thrift Shop Day!
Oh yeah, going resaling is great fun.
It's recycling, it's cheap, and it's a treasure hunt.
The following are items that I've purchased at thrift stores:
Long sleeved cat shirt.
Cutie cat pin.
Michigan State Spartan shirt and scarf.
Brass cat statue.
Yes, thrift stores can be intimidating, but just walk on in, and start perusing.
Unknown treasures await.
For Caturday, Chili Bruce was so cute while snuggled in a secondhand blankie, on a secondhand chair.
The famous Pink Blue Chair, and artified just a bit with Prisma.

Let's Hop!
I think everyone likes a good bargain...
ReplyDeleteThose are lovely finds. Sweet and pretty art of Chili Bruce.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was working I used to go into a resale shop and try to buy all my fancy blouses and suits there. You Can Come Away with a bargain of any kind if you look hard.
ReplyDeleteBeen "thrifting" for 30/40 years, and now it is where you find better quality, especially w/clothing.

ReplyDeleteThose are pretty cool finds! We don't get cool stuff like that at our local thrift stores! Mom had to go to the big city to get a new windshield and was in a 2nd hand store there that had some wonderful things, but she did not bring anything home....Keep on being AWESOME! Your #1 Fan boy! Marvelous Marv
