I type this post before meeting with my new supervisor.
On Friday, my 'old' job was eliminated by my company, and I was offered a new position.
Our offices remain closed, so no matter what, I'm working from home.
Onward and upward, no?

Paddy O'Malley has lovely whiskers, and he's not afraid to show them off!

DeleteI'm happy you have a new job. That's great news.
ReplyDeleteAwww on the kitty. Adorable and just begging to be loved.
Have a purrfect day and week. ♥
That PO'M doesn't know when to NOT ask for love! I adore him to pieces.
DeleteA new job at my age; ha, who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?
V; best fishes on your new job endeavor; hoping you can keep it til you want to ree tire !! L
ReplyDeletedood, lookin good two day buddy; pleez N joy sum out side time for uz ~~ ☺☺♥♥
Oh, that word...RETIRE!
DeleteIt's closer than ever before, but there are still a few years to go. I appreciate the good wishes!
We love Monday O'Malley! Good luck with your new position.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the thumbs-up!
DeleteSO MANY whispers! Handsome as I know I am (heh heh) Nature did short me a bit in the whisper department. And since they are mostly balck-in-black, lots of times it looks like I an whiskerless!
ReplyDeleteGood luck to the Human on the new position....glad she can still work from home!
Oh no, Spitty...you have marvelous whiskers, especially those white ones! You MUST tell Manny or Chili Bruce how to grow them; sometimes, I have to turn one of them over to look at the size of the white belly patch to figure out which is which, and that's not very nice.
DeleteA new job at my age...hahahaha!
Good luck fr your new job.
ReplyDeletePaddy O'Malley is always handsome.
Thank you!
DeleteGood things will come to you!!! Good attracts good!! That colorful art of the cat in the lawn is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI am lucky to have been given a chance like this.
DeleteI am glad you were offered another position and can work from home. We have watermelon for a snack every afternoon. Thank you for the puzzle. XO
ReplyDeleteI hope management's faith in me isn't unfounded!
DeleteWe agree! Paddy had pawsome whiskers!!
ReplyDeleteWE wish you well in the new position :)
Purrs, Georgia and Julie
Thank you!
DeleteWas your position abolished due to covid-19? It's good that you were able to go right into a new one. Did you know of this beforehand?
ReplyDeleteAh, watermelon, and the flavourful, deep red-hued kind, not the tasteless pale pink pieces that are little better than rind...
Yes, the company is forced to cut back, and my position morphed from one role into another, just so the books balance. Actually, I have a meeting today to have it explained it in more detail. What I truly appreciate is that they didn't want to let me go; they wanted to slot me in somewhere, and perhaps return me when things look up. That's a nice feeling!
DeleteAnd The Hubby will NOT BUY WATERMELON for me; he's the food procurer, and he knows that I'll eat a whole damn watermelon in one sitting. They are sweet, and I need to watch my sugar intake, so he thinks he's rationing me. Silly man, I'll get watermelon somehow, whether he likes it or not! He's only looking after me, but I'm a kid at heart...I want what I want!
Good luck with your new job. Thank goodness for kitties huh ?
ReplyDeleteThanks; I'll need all the kitty purrs I can manage, as my brain wraps around new things!
DeleteHope all is okay with your new job, and the upside down photo is the best!
ReplyDeleteThat PO'M; I've hundreds, nay thousands, of photos of him; he's such a clown!
DeleteThanks!
The photo of Paddy O'Malley's whiskers from the underside is wonderful. I hope your "new" job works out well. Working from home is definitely a plus. We've been doing it since early April and it will continue until the end of the year.
ReplyDeleteWorking from home is DA BOMB; I've regained 3 hours of my day by not commuting! Can only hope it stays this way...
DeleteGood luck with your new job!
ReplyDeleteThank you; I'll need all of the luck in the world to get my brain wrapped around this thing.
DeleteMum just finished your puzzle. She liked all the color. The book mum read? The Room Where it Happened by John Bolton. Very detailed. Mum read about 125 pages a day to get it done in four days. That is a lot of reading, but it gives me lap time!
ReplyDeleteI like puzzles that have some challenge to them! Tell you mom that I'm challenge myself to read a book series, but the library only has them as books, or on CD! I've got out my old CD player, and have dived in; what a funny old technology, when most all other books are available on audiobook.
DeleteWishing you good luck with your new position!
ReplyDeletePaddy is very handsome and his whiskers are fantastic :-)
Thanks for the well-wishes!
DeleteWe wish you the best of luck with your new positon.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate it!
DeleteSweetie💗Good luck on your new job😸Pawkisses for a Happy Tuesday🐾😽💞

ReplyDeletePO'M...all I can say is...you are THE mancat out there! And that watermelon looks delicious! Mom had some honeydew and strawberries for lunch and some red grapes.
The PO'M is an amazing dude, no doubt about that!
DeleteWe hope all goes well with your new position!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteWe wish you good luck on the new position. Dad had that happen several times on his job (they keep the good workers) and found it alright in the end. Paddy you are sooooo handsome
ReplyDeleteI appreciate the 'alright in the end' bit, 'cause it's sorta hard on one hand, but a good feeling on the other.
DeleteI'm glad your employer appreciates you enough to assign a new position. Best wishes! And thanks for documenting those amazing whiskers. :)
