Now that it's officially winter, let's break out some giggles:
😹😹😹
Selfie snapped at 10:03 AM Eastern, the official Winter Solstice time
.
The wind chill was a single digit, but the sun was out, and a smile to start this most horrendous of seasons seemed a positively negative way to step forward.
And yes, that scarf was wrapped around my face for the duration of my time outside.
👌🏻

I am glad those sort of winters are a rarity here now. Back in the 50s and 60s we had freezing temperatures and a lot of snow. From what I have read, for a good many years before that too.
ReplyDeleteSorry! Loved our years in Michigan ... hubby couldn't wait to move to Florida!
ReplyDeleteMom doesn't think she could tolerate the cold anymore.

ReplyDeleteBrave walker you are. I did mine inside the grocery store! Had to wear almost as much just to walk the parking lot and pump gas!
We hate winter. The best thing We can say about it is that rain and snow look very dramatic - as long as they are viewed from behind a double glazed window!
ReplyDeleteI don't mind winter if I'm inside and warm. Outside of that I just wait for spring.
ReplyDeleteI linked this post to Awww Mondays.
Have a fabulous day and week. Merry Christmas. ♥
we thinkz you need to stuff 2 kitty warmerz inside your jacket
ReplyDeleteIt's much colder here than I expected it to be today; a good day to spend indoors. Not at work, I mean.
ReplyDeleteThose were good! Keep plenty warm up there!
ReplyDeleteI like to wrap my scarf around my face, too. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, we do have a slight preference for sunny and cold over warm and muddy!

ReplyDeleteThis is why the Romans, until Julius Caesar forced them to, did not name the winter months, but just ignored their existence!
DeleteDeleted this comment the first time because I made a dumb error, sorry. I do know the difference between a plural and a possessive, although sometimes I wonder where my mind is.
Your smile is addictive. :D Blessings, my dear.
ReplyDeleteLove the first one. :)
