It's Twozday!
Due to seasonal temperature changes, Da Boyz have migrated to the huge corner beddy.
And yet, they still break away for some alone time.
Manny, on top of the fridge again.

Da Boyz health update:
Both REALLY enjoy their daily muscle mass booster chews.
We've removed seafood from their diets, although Manny has now become rather picky about what he'll eat.
No worries, we're dealing with this by:
1) Allowing Manny to walk away from his meal, then going back to it as many times as it takes for him to finish.
2) Introducing new flavors carefully, but no cat liked the lamb (The Hubby picked it, not me!)
3) Sometimes, a sprinkle of nutritional yeast inspires him to munch.
4) Simply feeding Manny in the kitchen corner, away from his brofur.
Nothing works 100% of the time, so we stay flexible and gently coax him back to his bowl.
Okay, the truth...I've grumbled a bit at having to police Manny, as I feel that I'm the cause of his reluctance to nom.
Isn't that silly?

Oh, we love you two and have been remiss in reading and commenting. Food sometimes is a challenge with kitties, that's for sure. LOVE da boyz so, so much and they are as darling as ever.
ReplyDeleteAngel Loulou, thanks for commenting! Are you still blogging? Hope you are enjoying The Rainbow Bridge, but we miss you.
DeleteGreat pictures of the boys. Precious is getting difficult to feed too. At 15 I'm not sure why she's always had such a fantastic appetite.
ReplyDeletethat izza nice big floofy bed guys! sometimes i take 2 goes to eat my gushy fudz
ReplyDeleteDa Boyz sure look cozy ~ sweet photos ~
ReplyDeleteHugs ^_^
We have to do what we have to do to make sure our kitties are fed properly. You're doing very well.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and week. Scritches to Da Boyz. ♥
You boys are always so adorable. Menu changes are never easy for any of us!
ReplyDeletedood…tell yur mom ta. chex out bonito flakes sum time…a wee bit a par me san cheez helpz two….a wee bit 🖤🧡🧡🖤🐾🎃‼️😸
ReplyDeleteGosh boys, somehow I missed why you aren't having seafood any more. Can you? Or is that something that is not good for you?
ReplyDeleteManny has urine crystals, and the vet said that seafood has a higher level of minerals that can cause crystals, so we've discontinued seafood for Da Boyz.
DeleteYou are far from silly, my dear. I understand your weary frustration one hundred percent, having gone through various iterations over the last quarter century (!) with some of our furry girls.
ReplyDeleteThey are such cuties. We have to do a lot of policing at mealtimes too.
ReplyDeletePro Plan used to have lamb-flavored treats and Mudpie ADORED them. Of course, they were discontinued.
ReplyDeleteThe boys look wonderful. It’s hard when you have one who will eat anything, including everyone else’s food, and one who is picky or only eats small amounts at a time.
ReplyDeleteAww, we're glad that snuggly bed is back en vogue. :)
ReplyDeleteWe sure hope you can find some noms that are to Manny's liking.
Picky eaters! I always seem to have quite a few of them. I find Fortiflora serves the same purpose as your nutritional yeast. And lamb! I haven't met a cat who likes it.
ReplyDeleteI find feeding time to be a pain. Cheeto will eat anything and everything, including Murphy’s food if given the chance. Which requires feeding him in a separate room with the door closed because Murphy is a slow eater and takes his time. You gotta do what you gotta do.
