"World Otter Day takes place on the last Wednesday in May each year. 

The day was established by International Otter Survival Fund (IOSF) to help draw attention to otters, celebrate them, and raise awareness and support for their conservation globally.

Water Cats

Established by The International Otter Survival Fund on the last Wednesday in May, to bring awareness that otter species are declining due to habitat destruction, reduction of prey, roadkill, and illegal trade for fur, and being kept as pets. 

As I've posted before, otters look like water cats to me!
