Making Cat Friends

While out and about in the 'hood, I met up with new friends....

This is Boots

I've met Boots a few times, and when he sees me, he runs over for petting!

Isn't he gorgeous?

While petting Boots, this fluffy black cat wanted some too!

...and then the Patty O'Malley look-alike showed up!

Such a pretty kitty!
So, I had three cats to pet, and only two hands.  Boots decided he'd be better off elsewhere, and he flopped down in another yard.  I know where he lives, but don't know much about the black or tabby cats.

And, as I finished my exercise, this kitty appeared in my driveway!

He didn't really like that Patty O'Malley was following at my heels, but I was able to pet this kitty. Notice the ear-tip; that means someone is caring for this cat, and I couldn't be happier!  I've named him Oliver...or could be Olive?  Am fairly certain that my across-the-street neighbor has made a home for Oliver, which is what I told The Hubby who immediately advised me that we do NOT need anymore 'O' Cats!

HA!  As if *he* has any say in the matter...

All in all, this four-cat-friend walk ranks pretty darn near the top of my best outings EVER!  Do I love warm weather or what?

****

Thank you all for your loving words for Angel Sammy; he taught me to use my gut instincts when managing The 'O' Cats. 💕

  1. Lucky you, to see all of the cats! It's great that someone else spayed/neutered the one kitty.

  10. I wish my walks were like that! I usually just meet up with impatient cranky drivers, and cyclists bent on running me over!

Dave keeps telling me no more cats (we only have two!)... but I keep telling him ... cats pick their people. You don't get a say.
