Patty O'Malley likes to rest under The Cat Car. It's a great place to 1) stay out of the sun...or rain..., 2) to watch the world go by, and 3) keep an eye out for Angel who sometimes hisses and charges!

When I show up, Patty ALWAYS walks toward me |
Then, I spied a pretty ginger cat, who promptly ran under a nearby car. You cannot see very well, but I didn't whip out my cell phone fast enough when the sweet kitty was in the middle of the green bushes.

"C'mon Orange Kitty! Come out and play!" |
And THEN! This groundhog wanted to run across the street, but I scared him when I started peeking around, and he ran off to disappear under a hedge.

Under the car seems to be a popular place. Kinda like under the bed for us indoor kitties.
ReplyDeleteYour yard is like a superhighway :)
ReplyDeleteWhoaa, all kinds of things happening around there! I much prefer the peace and quiet of our little inside with mom and dad. (dad note- right now she's curled up against my leg as I sit here on the bed typing). Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!
ReplyDeleteSweet that Patty comes to you when he is under the car. We had a groundhog that made his home under our front porch. We had to get him out from under there because he actually got a bit territorial about us sitting on "his" porch!
ReplyDeleteWow mew have so much excitement happening at your place!

Our neighbor's cat is frequently under the cars. It stays cooler and is good protection from annoying dogs & children.
ReplyDeleteI'm always nervous when I see cats under cats because I'm afraid they get run over.

The last time our mom saw cats under cars was with William's cat mom and sister--they were pretty much living under a car then. :( We know, though, that all had a happy ending. :)
ReplyDeleteAre all groundhogs unfriendly or just that one you saw. I've never met one myself. purrs
