Thankful Thursday: My 2018 Fat Cat Art Calendar

"Gustav Klimt, The Kiss, true version"
"Diego Velazquez, Las Meowninas, or Fashion victim"

"Andrea Mantegna, Oculus. In Search of Lost Time and Dinner"

"Vincent van Gogh, Sunflowers are ginger kittens"

"René Magritte, The Treachery of Images. Ceci n’est pas un chat"

"Rosso Fiorentino, Musical Angel-Cat"

I have fallen in love with Zarathustra, the large ginger mancat who is the muse (mews?) for artist Sveta Petrova.  If they weren't so far away in Russia, I'd be visiting them in a heartbeat!

Sveta deliciously adds images of Zarathustra to famous artwork, which improves said art, in my humble opinion, (and so says the website!)  Above are a few photos of the 2018 calendar pages, and I could not be more delighted.

Am so very thankful that my calendar arrived recently.  I can gaze at Zarathustra to my heart's content.

Go to Fat Cat Art (in Russia) or Contrado (in U.K.) to buy wonderful images, scarves, bags, books, and more.  There is a 'Mona Lisa With Her Cat' shirt in my very near future, you can bet your boots on that!

Disclaimer:  I love FatCatArt, and have received no compensation, nor any coupons, no not NUTHIN' for my enthusiastic post.

Farewell, King Punapippuri

Please visit Pikku Punapippuri.
One more star in the heavens.

We were gifted with this photo in September, 2016
Our blog post, when Punapippuri sent us his royal purple bed:

Karin, we celebrate Angel Punapippuri's life with you,
as we shed a few tears too.

Under The Car

Patty O'Malley likes to rest under The Cat Car.  It's a great place to 1) stay out of the sun...or rain..., 2) to watch the world go by, and 3) keep an eye out for Angel who sometimes hisses and charges!

When I show up, Patty ALWAYS walks toward me

Then, I spied a pretty ginger cat, who promptly ran under a nearby car.  You cannot see very well, but I didn't whip out my cell phone fast enough when the sweet kitty was in the middle of the green bushes.

"C'mon Orange Kitty!  Come out and play!"
And THEN!  This groundhog wanted to run across the street, but I scared him when I started peeking around, and he ran off to disappear under a hedge.
