The wee one is shedding fur like crazy, and every image I snap of her shows it!
At best, I can get a couple of swipes with the comb at a time; Sweets really isn't a fan.
I have a whole box full of brushes and combs, but she doesn't like any of them.

What about trying one of those mittens/gloves with the little teeth that you pet your kitty and groom them at the same time?

Mudpie gets like that too, but thankfully she loves getting brushed.

ReplyDeleteI try to brush them regularly. With 4 cats, there's a lot of hair. I use a shedding tool that is a circle that worked amazingly well on the horses. It is sold for cats. and all of mine like it. Quick short light brushes brings all kinds of hair quietly out of them.
ReplyDeleteErnie is shedding like crazy too. I use the Zoom Groom on him and he doesn't mind it.

ReplyDeleteWe were just going to mention one of those gloves! We have one but we prefer the Zoom Groom followed by a slicker to tidy us up. Our old bro Elliott was like Sweetie--really not a fan.

ReplyDeleteSeetie is like Jo Jo. She does not like brushes, combs or too much petting...and right now she is shedding...she reminds me of Pig Pen form Charlie Brown! Speaking of Beets and Sauerkraut, I L|OVE shredded Beets in sauerkraut! Makes the best Rubens, but I have never thought of in a wrap. Thanks for the great idea! I

ReplyDeleteI don't like brushies or combs luckily I don't shed. Rumpy has bags come off and so does Toby. Einstein fights the brush and Miss Fitz is Outta Here MOL
