It's Sweetnesday!

July, 2017: Sweetie goes from standoffish to friendly!

Finally being able to pet Celestial Sweetie was so wonderful!

She loved brushies too.

It's PO'Monday!

Paddy O'Malley is handling his current state of incarceration well.

We spend hours together each day; he sits on my towel-covered lap, as I rock in an old rocking chair that I'd forgotten about.

His sores from overlicking are healing...yay!

And, he enjoys brushies; you wouldn't believe the mound of loose fur I've collected so far.

Thank you all for your kind comments and desire to know how he's doing.

Paws crossed that his tests come back this week, with good news!

Sweetnesday!

The wee one is shedding fur like crazy, and every image I snap of her shows it!

 At best, I can get a couple of swipes with the comb at a time; Sweets really isn't a fan.

I have a whole box full of brushes and combs, but she doesn't like any of them.

Sweetie's Silly Spa Day

Sweetie has tons of loose fur.
Yesterday, I simply finger-combed her, and the stuff just flew everywhere!

 I broke out an old hairbrush, and once Sweetie got into the groove, we had a pile of fur!

In a second spa session last night, I brushed Sweetie for a full 30 minutes.

Yep, that's a HUGE pile of Sweetie's fur!

Funny how her fur has a shade of pink to it; that's not a camera glitch.

Patty's fur doesn't clump like Sweetie's does

Sweetie allowed me to give her a full brush and comb treatment! That pile of fur is all hers, although Mr. O'Malley wanted to model next to it.  To run one's hand down Sweetie's back is like touching silk.  And you know that Patty was treated to some brushies and snuggles too!

I'm off for a long weekend in Minneapolis, Minnesota, so I'll be offline for a few days.  At first, we planned for San Francisco, but there was lackluster enthusiasm (not on my part!).  Finally, we found a location that none of us have been before; time for new adventures!  Here's a partial list of the places we've traveled to:
