This hiccup in life made me long for warmer weather, and it's only 21 days until Spring.

Spring means green, and Celestial Paddy O'Malley had amazing green eyes.

When The Leaves Fall

Autumn has been when my anxiety mounted.

For the now non-existent 'O' Cats, and the coming cold weather.

Celestial PO'M is now missing his 2nd autumn, but I still can see him in my mind's eye, in the yard, searching the gardens, or waiting for me on the deck. 

While I miss him desperately, I am thankful that we had over a decade together.

Paddy O' matched the colors of Fall, didn't he?

Today we witness Chili Bruce, as his stands (ouch!) on my chest.

Me: "C'mon, let's see your handsome face!"

At least you can see his lovely whiskers, fine eyes, and his ability to stay focused...on something other than me!😸

Research says that most black cats have golden irises due to high melanin pigment content, but our three black cats have beautiful green eyes!

It's PO'Monday!

Paddy O'Malley is handling his current state of incarceration well.

We spend hours together each day; he sits on my towel-covered lap, as I rock in an old rocking chair that I'd forgotten about.

His sores from overlicking are healing...yay!

And, he enjoys brushies; you wouldn't believe the mound of loose fur I've collected so far.

Thank you all for your kind comments and desire to know how he's doing.

Paws crossed that his tests come back this week, with good news!

Connemara Marble

On today's episode of PO'Monday, let's feature his eyes.

Connemara Marble from Ireland is all shades of glorious green.

Obviously, Paddy takes after his Irish heritage!
