Chili Bruce loves the huge scratcher that sits in the big window.

We pull the blind, as the hot sun gets pretty intense.

CB enjoys the sun and the shade, as long as he's got his perch.

Mama Watches Mama

It's Sweetnesday!

Our readers may not remember that she was Mama before Sweetie became her name.

Why 'Mama'?

Because she was pregnant when she first appeared in our yard.

Having been TNR'd in 2009 after her babes were born and weaned, Mama really was no longer an accurate name.

Now, she watches the world from her window perch.

Sweetie: "I'd enjoy my perch more if there wasn't a commentary going on..."

Sweetie: "Okay, if you won't quiet down, I'll just take a look-see outside!"

Today we witness Chili Bruce, as his stands (ouch!) on my chest.

Me: "Look at me, Chili!"

Chili: "Nope."

Me: "C'mon, let's see your handsome face!"

Chili: "Nope!"

Me: "But you must!"

Chili: "Nuh-uh."

At least you can see his lovely whiskers, fine eyes, and his ability to stay focused...on something other than me!😸
