Books are so important in our days. I'm reading "Think iike a monk" and it is very interesting. A gentIe read on how to have a more baIanced Iife. Even during times of distress
When I really got into blogging, I stopped reading books. Since losing Bear, I've re-started so I'm not laying in bed and thinking of how he's not there - and my world feels a bit less lonely.
I love reading...always have and always will. That first one you presented about reading giving us a place to go when we have to stay...that was perfect and true.
Books are my passport and my map; they are where I want to go.

ReplyDeleteYes, my happy place is definitely between the pages. With Elza curled up next to me.
Happy reading day and thanks for the uplifting post!
