The Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday that occurs on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese calendar, which corresponds to late May or early June in the Gregorian calendar.
This week, it's today, May 31.
May 31 is also National Smile Day.
How 'bout some smiling dragon cartoons?
For Caturday, a smile from May 30, 2021, as Celestial Paddy and I were having fun!
Played around with filters to artify it a bit.

ReplyDeleteLovely Paddy whichever end you get. Plymouth isn't having a dragon boat festival this year, but there is one in Falmouth, Cornwall. There is also one in Exeter hosted by Devon Air Ambulance.
ReplyDeleteIf only fireworks on the fourth would be a quiet and as fun as the last toon. Looks like you were about to be roped in by the Paddy O'.

ReplyDeleteIf the PO'M had been a dragon, he wouldn't breathe fire; he'd puff out little clouds of smoke...
