September 27 is National Scarf Day
~AND~
National Ghost Hunting Day is the last Saturday in September.
Manny and CB kindly chose to model some impromptu scarfs (read: they were asleep and I pounced!):
Chili Bruce (yes, that's the fabric from Manny's favorite toy, the Cat Dancer!)

A silly ghost hunting cartoon, with cat:
Below is a picture of our Ghost Cat, a garden statue, which earned its name when it appeared all ghostly white on our deck, and for a short time, I thought it WAS a ghost!
Discovered later that a generous neighbor wanted to gift this cat to us, but as we weren't home, it was left on the deck.
When I arrived in the evening after dark, I was communing with The 'O' Cats, and saw this white fella sitting there, still as stone.
I was spooked!
Finally, I worked up the courage to reach out, and discovered it was inanimate and not spectral.
The neighbor, who was moving house and was gifting away anything her neighbors would take, apologized that the cat statue was a bit worn, and that one ear was broken.
Purrfect for our yard, where all of The 'O' Cats were TNR'd and ear-tipped, and a bit worn too!

The Ghost Cat was meant to be with you and is perfect in your garden.
ReplyDeleteI think the ghost statue is perfect just the way it is. And it does fit lovely right into the flowers and the outdoors.
