It's Twozday, and Da Boyz have different napping styles:
Manny, in a sunpuddle, with a Batman shadow.
Chili, whose nickname is Lumpy, is the lump under the blankie.
Napping nose to nose in my lap on MY chair.
Had an interesting thing happen:
I'd found a new cat food for all to try, and they seemed to enjoy it.
The price was good, the ingredients were good.
Yet, both Henry and Manny tossed their cookies, and there were these strange whitish pellets.
When I served that food once more, I watched Manny eat around these odd nodules.
Looked like pieces of barley, but were solid.
The Hubby and I decided that whatever those things are, our cats don't enjoy it, so I took the remaining cans back to the pet store where they were exchanged for our usual foods.
Moral to the story:
Keep your eyes open, and notice any changes in your cat's behaviors.
Also, go slowly when adding a new food or changing something.
Hope this wasn't TMI.

Oh, dear, sorry that seemingly good food was...well it wasn't! At least not for yours!
ReplyDeleteThat's interesting. Could you share with us what the food was?
ReplyDeleteThose boys are always so sweet!
Purrs,
The Chans
Never TMI, and good to be watchful. That nose to nose pic is just tantalizing!
ReplyDeleteStrange about the white bits in the food. If it is barley it should be cooked to softness or it is hard to digest. That is most likely the reason they up chucked it.
ReplyDeleteThat is a cute photo of them nose to nose.
The boys look comfy as always. I just so enjoy seeing two cats that curl up like that together. I'm like you, when you get something new for the cat you've really got to pay attention.
ReplyDeleteJUNE likes bits of white rice in her food? But then we don't try any new food anymore; just stick with the tried and true. BTW she's like Chili, a lump under a blankie!!! (PS thanks for the card: absolutely gorgeous art/design, loved it, a keeper)
