Old and New

My neighborhood has a wealth of wildlife.

First up, is my old friend Kiki; glad to see him up and about.

Kiki, an old friend
Old, as in age, and in years of knowing him!
💕

Then, I met two new friends:
Henry and Hermione!
Henry!
He's not fierce at all...

Prim, although her tag reads Hermione
She is polydactyl on her front mitts!

Henry and Prim's human and I had a delightful yammer, and all safety precautions were observed.

Both cats enjoy being petted, and they come when called!

💗

But wait...there's more!

I met my first owl in the neighborhood, and managed to snap a poor photo.

See the screech owl just about in the center of this photo?
I've heard both Screech and Great Horned Owls calling in the evenings, but could not put eyes on them...until now!

Sorry, Trout Talking Tabbies, who seriously dislike all birds...

Now, this was a good day in the neighborhood!

Pet Photo Fails!

This month, our photo fails are of the neighborhood cats.
Now, as daylight is shorter, my evening walk ends in the dark!
Therefore, my already questionable camera skills get a hit due to lack of light.

Sly, not his usual beautifully posed self!
Unknown black kitty, barely visible in my photo fail

Photo fail, for incredibly poor timing of unknown kitty
This is Kiki, but in low light, it's a photo fail!
Terrible photo of unknown kitty, but nice image of the fence!

Let's Hop!

Cats In A Row

To my delight, I had three mancats waiting for me!

Here's how they were positioned
Kiki
An old kitty, but full of life
Round, mound o' love; The PO'M
Jasper
Who'd had enough of my stalking...er, um...attentions.
Don't worry, he's a good kitty!
Kiki lives about five houses south of us, while Jasper is the same distance to the north.  The PO'M oftens waits for me to finish my evening neighborhood walk, by sitting on the sidewalk.  It was charming to have three mancats in a row, just for me!

More 'Hood Cats

This sweet girl is tentative at first...
...then warms up!
This is Kiki...
...an elderly gent, but he knows who his friends are!
Am sorry to say that I cannot remember this
kitty's name!
Do you see them?...
...Two gorgeous gingers, and I know they are
both mancats, but haven't heard their names...yet
Boots makes another appearance...
...as does my Patty O'Malley look alike!
Ghost cat!
(Just kidding, it's a cat statue that I adore!)
