Bowling Fundraiser!

Friday, I attended a fundraiser for Paws For The Cause Feral Cat Rescue at Classic Lanes Bowling Alley in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Personally, I have not been bowling in a decade or more, but I figured it's like riding a bike...right?

HA!  Sure, I used to bowl on a league, and I still have my bowling ball with little inserts and fancy name...but there wasn't the same amount of strength in my hand, wrist, arm, shoulder, hips, legs...and my old shoes did NOT fit!  The Hubby threw them in the trash, that's how old and abused they were.

It was all in good fun, and lots of good stuff was raffled off and funds raised.  Spay and neuter your pets, folks!  Here are two adoptable cats from Paws For The Cause:

Paws For The Cause Feral Cat Rescue works hard to get feral or community cats spayed and neutered, and returned to their loyal caregivers.  Their focus is to prevent more kittens being born into the wild, or cats being left to fend for themselves in risky locations.  

Support your local rescue groups, with money if you can, or volunteer time or make donations of towels, blankets or food.  Yes, I know I'm pretty much preaching to the choir, but every little bit helps.

Wow, Patty and Sweetie, allowed themselves to be photographed TOGETHER!  Well, the truth is, I took some solo pics of Patty ('cause that's easy enough!), then tried for some Sweetie alone.  Of course, Patty must insert himself between me and her, so I took the opportunity to get them both in one shot.  For awhile, they were even having a staring contest!  Oh kitties, why cannot we all just get along?

One luscious set of pages....

Sure, it has dozens of yummy photos of adorable cats, but WHOA!!! The photos of the 'MEN' are...well...er, um...rather EXPOSED!  I mean, like not a lot of clothes on!  The cats are perfectly attired, I might add.

What the hey?  Where am I supposed to stash this little book, CG? Oh yeah, sure...call it an 'art' book!  Uh-huh.  Good thing I've hidden it away in my cat book collection, so The Hubby won't find it!  He already knows I have a boyfriend, (Patty O'Malley), and if he thinks I'm drooling over...cat photos...well, I just don't want to think about it.

Did I already say, "YIKES!"
